Location
2 Barremman Cottage is located on the lovely Rosneath Peninsula, on the shores of the Gare Loch. We are within easy driving distance of Glasgow airport, and would recommend a car for exploring the local area, but we are also accessible via public transport.

Our cottage is located on a farm track, peacefully away from the main road. It is unpaved and bumpy, but perfectly passable to non 4 wheel drive vehicles
Driving
To reach us by car, follow the A82 northbound out of Glasgow, then turn left onto the A817. This scenic road will take you via the A814 into Garelochead, from which you can take the B833 along the shore of the Gare Loch to our farm track.
Train
The train from Glasgow to our neighbouring town of Helensburgh is a pleasant 45 minute lochside journey. From Helensburgh, you can take the bus to our farm track. Trains can be caught to other destinations from Garelochhead or Helensburgh.
Bus
2 Barremman Cottage is ideally situated to explore the lochs via public transport: hourly buses to Helensburgh and Kilcreggan pass the bottom of the farm track. From Helensburgh you can take the train or bus onward for days out in Glasgow and beyond.
